Food & Beverage
 Food and Beverage Manager II
Assists the Food and Beverage Manager ensuring the department runs smoothly, profitably, efficiently and within the guidelines of the law and service standards.  The applicant should be a team player, desire a busy work schedule particularly in the summer months.  The ability to prepare food for outing and non outing guests.  To train and mentor and work cohesively with wait staff, assist with all golf and non-golf events, beverage ordering, food ordering, as well as knowledge of POS systems.  Have the ability to meet with potential and current customers and create opportunities by scheduling golf and non golf events for The Emerald.  Must have experience cooking and preparing kitchen in restaurant situations.  Self motivated individual with an upbeat attitude able to perform in a fast pace environment.  Responsible to Director of Golf Operations and Event Planning and Food and Beverage Manager I.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1.  Establish procedures and standards for bar operation.
  2. Maintain inventory.
  3. Keep bar area and storage areas neat and clean.
  4. Responsible for equipment, supplies and glassware.
  5. Assist in dining room set-up for regular dining and special events.
  6. Train bar and restaurant employees.
  7. Prepare food for outing and non outing guests
  8. Open or close building when necessary.
Experience in F&B - Preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills - Required
Working knowledge of computers-Preferred.
Working knowledge of F&B cost control, staff planning, banquet service/sales, equipment/reports, Board of Health rules and regulations, county liquor laws and alcohol awareness program - Required.
